Assalamualaikum & hi everyone !

Welcome to my Portfolio for Usrah Budi 4.

First & foremost, let me introduce myself. My name is Nor Tasnim Binti Abdul Halim. I'm studying History and Civilization in Kulliyyah Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Science (KIRKHS), IIUM. Currently, I am in the third year and in the second semester which means I still get to finish another 2 semesters left before graduating from IIUM. 

As for me, IIUM is an amazing place where I grow up. Here, I can gain a lot of knowledge generally and religiously. People here; friends and lecturers are really supportive and inspired me in every aspect to get balance in life and hereafter. As I majoring in History, I learn a lot from past history, backgrounds, lessons from uprising declination, and also about civilization. I also choose to learn many subjects from Islamic Revealed Knowledge (IRK) as elective courses. From this, I seek historical facts based on Islamic perspectives. 

In IIUM I also got opportunities to learn soft skills by joining club activities and taking co-curriculum subjects. I am one of the active committees in the SENDI Club, IIUM. For the past few semesters, I was in mainboard and held the position of former Public Relations and Secretary of the SENDI Club. However, as this semester started to be tough, I just joined the activities and was sub-committee for programs. SENDI Club is a club under CENSERVE department of IIUM. SENDI Club provides a lot of mentoring programs and from there, it helped me a lot to sharpen my skills in mentoring and communicating with peers and officers professionally. 

Other than that, I also joined a co-curricular subject which is Usrah Budi 4 that I'm taking now. From Usrah Budi 4, I learn a lot especially from current issue discussions and topics provided for example, 'Maqasid Syari'ah' which plays the important roles for us as Muslim. Other than that, Usrah Budi 4 also provide us suitable and flexible assessment as our current role is students with hectic life which is movie review. Movie review is such an interesting activity to release our stress. From movie review, we also can get lessons from watching the movie. As my group choosing a movie titled " 1957: Hati Malaya", we feel like kindly appreciated on what our passed leaders contributed for independence. Me as Historical students got relate with what I have been watched. During presentation, we explained on the synopsis of the movie, main casts, ratings, lessons and Maqasid Syariah. We divided the task to finish the assesment of movie review equally. I'm gonna show our project had to be. Do refer to this link :) 1957 : HATI MALAYA (SLIDES PRESENTATION)

As for recommendation in every Usrah that I have joined before is I hope to meet everyone in my Usrah Section. As Usrah means family, we need to strengthen the bond and continuously contact and get to know each other closely. That's all in my post. I wish for happiness and health to those who read my post. COLLABORATION

In Usrah BUDI 1 & 2, roughly what I have done is discussion about current issue and story telling which is about Sirah Nabawiyyah. I also heard about other stories that told by my friends and learn a lot of lessons from them. Other than that, we also have to do poster. The poster was about short Qur'anic sentences (Usrah Budi 1). While in Usrah Budi 2, we were asked by our Naqibah to distribute a video or poster about any topic, and we choose to make a video about "Feminism Ideology and the Impact toward Muslim" ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cN0oH0wIBa6pYQW_0aXleYYz95LbSzo2/view )

In Usrah Budi 3, we already choose the topic "Healthy Lifestyle According to Sunnah" and released on Youtube. We got a lot of positive comment about the video.

WISH

After finished all the tasks, I'm feel very proud of myself because finally, I was successful give a room to myself to enhance my confidential and knowledge through this Usrah. Sometimes, the lessons i got from this class, I cannot find in my formal class. In this class I can make a few friends from other courses. Basically in my formal class, especially in History class ( Because I'm majoring in History) there were a very little activities to do with my classmate. But, in this Usrah, we shared about our personal thought, we shared about feelings and many more. Hopefully, I can join another fun usrah class like this in next semester. :)

Assalamualaikum everyone ! Im going to update my portfolio for Usrah's assignment in this semester ! For those who still not know about me let me introduce about myself first. My name is Nor Tasnim binti Abdul Halim. I am 20 years old. I'm from Gombak Selangor. Yes, luckily my home is really near with the place I'm studying hehee so every weekend I got chance to go home, help my parents and spending time with them. I'm majoring in History and Civilization in Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Science. I got such a wide information about world history and learn a lot of Ibrah and values from all the events occured. I think that is one of my great experience studying in this course. 

So, how was my MCO ? Alhamdulillah everything went well! Even though it was a little bit messy to manage my new schedule at home, finally I did it ! Glad to have understanding lecturer and family that know I need to manage time for doing assignment and for family. For the test during MCO, I think the university made the test became easier as the open book test has been distributed almost for all my subjects. I hope I can manage to be one of dean list students. InsyaAllah. 

So let's move on to the next story. What have I done during MCO ?

As I have interest in business, I start my business by selling skincares!
